Brook Dyer

Brook combines deep technical understanding with commercial acumen to help clients navigate complex IP challenges. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (with Honours) in Computer Systems, a Bachelor of Laws, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland. He also qualified as a Trans-Tasman (Australia & New Zealand) Patent Attorney in 2018.

Since entering the IP profession in 2015, Brook has worked with a broad spectrum of clients, from SMEs to multinational businesses, providing strategic advice on identifying, protecting, and managing innovation. His collaborative style and problem-solving mindset make him a trusted advisor during every stage of product development. 

His technical focus includes computer systems, robotics, software, medical technologies, aerospace, agri-tech, and control systems. 

Outside of work, Brook is a keen endurance athlete. Mainly focused on swimming and cycling, he is slowly introducing running to his training with the aim of one day completing an Ironman.
